This is my first update since September - just in case I have any readers out there (loyal enough to check back after 4 months of inactivity ?!) I do apologise for my tardiness - I won't go into the plethora of personal dramas, reasons and excuses but suffice it to say "I'm back". I return with a different outlook on this web/comic malarky too. I think I scared myself off a bit, biting off more than I could chew. After taking on board the advice of some very nice people I now accept that whatever I do with this site I have to do for myself first and foremost, without constantly freaking out about what other people might say, do or think.

There have been a few changes around the place with updates to the Gallery, Archive and About pages (and don't forget to see the latest over at Kaspall and Sinister Fish!). The biggest changes to Akaxo are the introduction of a new comic strip (above) and the way I am working on my main project, originally a webcomic with the working title Akaxo. I realise now that my plans for a somewhat epic webcomic project were highly unrealistic given my (lack of) experience so I have decided to scale things down a bit, but still give myself a chance to finish the story. From now on I will be working on my script, which I will start displaying on here next month and I will add related illustrations to the Gallery - Oh and it has at last got a title, Flesh Again, I hope that intrigues. I'll also be working on improving my comicking skills with Stormy Weather.

My first attempt is dedicated to all my fellow Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen/Twilight fans, and all those that must suffer us. I ought to blog about something else now...um...isn't it cold!
