Tomorrow, Kaspall will have been updating for three years. It seems rather unreal.
It's interesting to think about what I've learnt over that time. Particularly stuff that I never considered when I started out - for example, The Internet. Three years ago I knew very little about webcomics, or internet communities in general to be quite honest. I'd never posted on a forum. In fact, I barely knew what a thread was. And I had no idea about furries. That came as a suprise.
As hardly any of my friends and family are particularly involved in internet communities either, I've ended up exploring most of this stuff on my own. It's been a little weird, not to mention kind of scary at times. But it has been fun as well. I doubt I would have been able to keep going as long as I have without getting in touch with other people who do webcomics. It can be such an all-consuming thing to do, I think it's important to know that someone else out there is also slaving over a comics page when they should be asleep - otherwise you'd just end up thinking you were insane. I think everyone has those times when you wonder whether it's worth it ... or whether you should just
make a sharp exit.
But looking back on the past 189 pages, I pleased with what I've managed to do. It's not perfect by any means, but I do finally have some of this story on paper and I'm proud of that.
