Scene 18 - Walls (page 200)

So. Page 200. Yeah.
Anyway.
There's really not much going on here. Next week is going to be interesting, but currently? Nothing. All I've been doing is sitting around watching murder mysteries, because there's a frankly stupid number of them on at the moment.
ITV3 isn't helping at all - last night, if I wanted, I could have watched Inspector Morse, followed by Cadfael, followed by Taggart. That's a solid five hours and ten minutes of classic violent death, without even changing channels. Of course, if I had wanted to change channels, I could also have watched The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, CSI and Law & Order at the same time. I should have tried it - could've made for some novel dialogue - 'Sarge, we've found ... a respected wool merchant ... garotted with tights ... in an Oxford ... casino!'.
I tell you, a few months ago you couldn't find a corpse on TV for love nor money. It was the kind of crime drought where you'd be happy to watch re-runs of Midsomer Murders, because a misanthropic landowner bill-hooked to death at the annual 'Chutney, Jam and Adultery Festival' is better than nothing. Now, I almost feel like there's such a thing as too much murder.
