I am a little distraught. File 49 is nearly finished. This is very unfair and shouldn't be allowed. Okay, okay, so I'm overreacting a little, as Sara Turner is talking about a second story arc - which she has to do because of the oh, so many unanswered questions - but breaks are never good with webcomics, what if she decides she doesn't want to do it any more? I want to now what happens next goddammit! And it's very unfair her upsetting me like this just after the Keith incident (I love Keith. He's great). For those of you who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, File 49 is one of the (too few) webcomics I read. It updates weekly on Mondays, and has been going for quite a while (as demonstrated by it being nearly over). It's got kids with paranormal abilities and secret government organisations etc. which I admit has been done before - but I like stories like that if they are done well, and in my opinion this one is. The drawing is a little random, because she's in the process of redrawing it - so it's pretty slick and well done until about halfway through Part I, when it suddenly goes all pencilly and isn't as well written - this being how she started off. Which is interesting in itself because you then get to see how her style develops until it ends up being as good as it was at the start. But yeah. Go and have a look. Even if you don't like it, it's free so what do you care?
