I'm home again! Which means updating on Amy's spawn-of-evil ftp system. And not being able to download the stupid page in the right format. So yeah - if it's taking ages to turn up on your screen then that's why. Stupid stupid stupd hjrgehjsldhdjfhl!!!! I'll be changing it to the proper format as soon as I get home on Monday afternoon - so if you can't be bothered to wait for it to turn up, then come back tomorrow, it should be sorted then...

Should now be fixed...

I have had a great time here though. I'm going to be with the Gerard at Christmas - my first ever Christmas away from home, which is a bit weird - so I'm getting to open some presents tonight which is pretty cool. And it's been snowing since I've got here, which is also great because I usually miss all the snow every year by repeatedly travelling where it's not.

Of course, what with me having money now, I had to go to my old comics shop. I may have slightly less money now. But I got some good stuff. Oh yeaaaah. I got xxxholic and Usagi and The Invisibles and Fruits Basket and those random Goth comics I've wanted a look at and Fables and Girl Genius and Kabuki and Doom Patrol and that adaptation of The Thief of Always and and and and and there was still other stuff I wanted that they didn't have! Like Planetes and Othello and Slow News Day ... and stuff I couldn't buy because I'd already bought waaaaay too much stuff - like Powers and Lone Wolf and Cub and Hellboy and Tank Girl 3 ... In fact, I don't think I've ever spent that much money on comics in one go before. Seriously, for the past year there have been so many things I've wanted to get, and I just couldn't because of ... you know ... the complete lack of anything to pay for them with (for some reason shops seem to expect some form of payment. Can't think why). So I thought I could get away with a bit of a splurge. Mmmmmmmm, comics ... so sweet and tasty ...

The only problem now is getting them home. Though I'm leaving a few behind - like the Usagi which I can't turn my back on, because some random member of my family will make off with it. I swear there's no other comic I've ever brought home that's as popular as Usagi. I'm amazed the cat doesn't insist on reading the damn things.
